Turkey Meatloaf

Finally! The awesome turkey meatloaf recipe I got from PR Cole. This is a staple of my diet these days. Very high protein, low fat, and tastes great!

1lb ground turkey breast
1/2 cup corn
1/2 cup red onion
1 cup instant oatmeal
1 tbsp minced garlic (I usually double or triple the suggested garlic)
3/4 cup fat free milk
2 eggs (or egg whites)
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt

Dump everything into a bowl. Mix.

If the mix looks really gross, you've done it correctly. If it looks just kinda gross, then you probably forgot the oatmeal, and baking it will produce a 1lb block of turkey floating in steaming milk. This happens to me a lot because I like to talk on the phone while I cook and always end up forgetting to add the oatmeal (notice in the image above I forgot the onion).

Once it's mixed, pour into a bread pan (spray it with non-stick spray). Place it in the oven (preheated to 350 degrees) for about 40 or so minutes.

"Shut down all the trash compactors on the detention level!"

And some 40 minutes later...
Presto!

nom nom nom.....good!

  1. Your Star Wars figures still make me laugh every time I look at this site! ha!!! BUT, I still haven't made your recipe...turkey meatloaf (for some reason) isn't on my top list of great things to eat.

We shoulda made it while you were here for Christmas!
