Peanut Butter Muscle Bombs!

2 cups all-natural unsalted crunchy peanut butter
2 scoops vanilla whey protein
1/4 cup of molasses, measured Grandpa style (ie. +2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons whole flaxseeds

Dump everything into a large bowl
Stir
Rest
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until sufficiently mixed
Form into walnut-sized balls
Place on parchment sheet
Chill in freezer for at least 2 hours


Think these look sloppy? You should see me roll caramels.

So despite the ridiculous name, these are awesome. Peanut butter is a really healthy food in moderate doses, and I can't think of a tastier way to get more of it into your diet. The trick is stopping yourself after only one or two!

  2. I usually order it from Amazon. I use a bunch of different kinds for protein shakes, but for the muscle bombs I use Gold Standard French Vanilla (since it's a pretty tame flavor).
