2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. grated orange rind
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
1 egg, well-beaten
2 Tb. salad oil
1 cup nuts, chopped
1 cup fresh cranberries, halved
Sift dry ingredients together. Combine rind, juice, water, egg, and oil. Add to dry mixture. Stir just until thoroughly moistened.
Fold in nuts and cranberries. Pour into greased loaf pan and let stand for ten minutes before baking at 350 degree for one hour. Cool before slicing
Grandma says, "This bread is better if not cut for several days."
