Bavarian Cream

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 8-oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Dash of salt
1-1/4 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 pint strawberries

Soften gelatin in water and then dissolve over hot water. Combine cheese, sugar, almond and salt. Gradually add milk and gelatin.

Chill until slightly thickened. Then fold in whipped cream. Pour in a 1-1/2 quart mold and chill until firm.

Serve with fresh or frozen strawberries.


This is SO good there's no word to describe how pleased your taste buds will be.
